The Gallery Room in “Blue Prince” offers an engaging challenge through its four unique puzzles. These puzzles revolve around naming paintings based on visual and contextual clues, providing a rewarding experience when solved. Here’s an in – depth look:
Hint – Seeking
Though the mansion provides no essential hints, the Classroom holds some clues. The painting titles are themed around concepts like understand and deliberate. These puzzles are essentially wordplays. When examining the scenery, describe its major elements in different ways and combine words to fit the answer slot. One painting has a one – word answer, but deriving it may require some mental stretching.
Painting – Specific Solutions
- Painting 1: The main subject is the large text “THICK.” Except for the K, everything is bolded, indicating a “Thin K” in the painting. Thus, the answer is “Think.”
- Painting 2: The letter P is depicted riding high on a cart in the sky, containing a stop sign, an apple, a rose, and a fire hydrant. In the Classroom, you learn these items are supposed to be red. The flipped stop sign in the image leads to the answer “P On Der” (Der being a flipped red), which is “Ponder.”
- Painting 3: The table in the middle spells “Veri,” Latin for truth. A big board reads “Actual Objective,” and numerous eyes are on the floor. Combining these clues gives “Real” “Eyes,” forming “Realize.”
- Painting 4: An infinity symbol is in a room full of nails. The eighth red envelope and the eight in the Classroom share the same symbol, suggesting this is the number eight. So, the title is “Room In Eight,” or “Ruminate.”
Reward – Unlocking
After solving all four puzzles, two pedestals in the middle of the room open. Solving the first two unlocks a pedestal granting gems. Finishing the other two gives Key 8, which unlocks Room 8. Room 8 can be found on the eighth rank. Players need to draft a room in the eighth rank requiring a key and use the Room 8 key to access it. This room is the same as shown in the last picture.
